i've never thort about things like this. some of them i agree with but there are 2 people in this world you would die for? no way! 15 people in the world love you? no way! people think about you every night? no way! i guess the rest is true. i like the 3 most difficult phrases to say. i really agree with that.
I want to know who came up with the numbers? Really, this is nothing but a chain letter. I don't mean to be a killjoy, but just because it says it's true doesn't make it so.

Actually, for the lucky ones I'd say a good part of it's true, and a lot of us are more lucky then we know. *smile* There is more then 2 people in this world I'd die for. My husband, Mom, baby sister, niece and best friend. Yes, I'd give my life to save any of their's. 15 people who love me, yes. My husband, Mom, baby sister, older brother, niece, my 3 best friends, 2 children I consider family; children of 2 of those best friends, my husband's father; guess that would make him my father-in-law, LOL, more use to simply thinking of him as Dad, my own Dad, my aunt Laura, uncles Allen and Bobby. Those are people who I know love me greatly, and I have many other family members and friends. People who think about me before they go to sleep? My husband and my Mom. They don't do it out of habit, but because of how they love me and the feeling is very mutual. So, before you think your not truly loved, and that these numbers are "just made up" stop and think about your own life. Some of the people I could have named for any of these are dead now; such as my Mom's parents, but they still loved me and I them as long as they were here, and though they are gone I haven't stopped.

I don't agree totally with it either, and the numbers while are not accurate are probably at least true for most people, some have more and some have less. The colors I certainly don't agree with, but it is a good thing to look at and does cause thought.

yes it's definitely a chain letter. I have had that one quite a few times in my email, and yes it's cute, but so true when you think about it. If you don't want to think about it then I feel sorry for you and you sound quite bitter people. We know millions of people, each one of us!
Bitter, no. Cynical, you know I am, and yet you haven't run screaming in terror so mayhap I'm doing something right. I honestly don't catalog all the people who love me or who would die for me or whatever. They're here, how ever many there are and I appreciate them. Because I love them, they will never get a chain letter from me, no matter how true, so there! I honestly don't know how many people I would die for or who I would want to die for me, as that concept just seems like something I can't get my head around. What do you expect, I'm a male, so all this romantic noble cute stuff just doesn't do a thing for me I suppose. Other than that, I'm a nice guy! Hehehehe!

No worries, it's all good, just covering my bases I suppose. I make no claims on being Mr. Macho, but so much of the so-called inspirational writings I see passed hither and yon seem either too fluffy and positive to the point of nearly vomitting, else they just seem preachy as if the author thought most of us lived in caves all our lives. *grin*
Well, it’s cute I’ll grant you that, but I think that the reason most think it’s so nice, is because they want to believe it’s true, especially the first bit: -

We would all like to think that there are 15 people in the world who love us, everyone wants to be loved, and the more people who love you, the better it makes you feel about yourself, so someone sending us something that says that at least 15 people love you, if you were in that frame of mind, could serve as a great confidence booster. However, there ar some who maybe know that there are not 15 people out there who love us, I for one can say with almost certainty that there aren’t 15 people in the world who love me, probably not even 10 people in the world who love me, I don’t necessarily think that I’m not a loveable person, but I guess that in some ways I’m not, if I was the type of person who had no self esteem, I might wonder why it is that there are 15 people in the world who love almost everyone except me. Oh just for the record that’s not how I think, I value the people who love me, and the people who I love, and it doesn’t matter whether there’s 1, 10 or 100 of them, I love people unconditionally and would never ask for that in return.

Well, Sugarbaby, I guess the words of wisdom in my own profile apply here. People will believe a lie either because they fear it is true or wish it to be true. As for me, I don't count or catalog people who love me. I figure in most cases although I'm blunt and cynical, I'm not an asshole so somebody out there loves me. Hey, I got a girlfriend at my age and my parents and family haven't found any reasons to disown me, so that's saying something. LOL!
